Graduate in Sociology and a Master’s student in History at the University of Évora, where she is currently developing her dissertation entitled “Beyond the domains of sound: the Estado Novo and experimental phonetics in fieldwork (Beja, 1953-1954)”, focusing on the analysis of the archive of the Laboratory of Experimental Phonetics of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities -University of Coimbra. She works as a senior technical officer at the CCDR Alentejo, I.P., and has extensive experience with local development organisations, as well as in coordinating projects and applications funded by European programmes.
