A PhD student of Information Science at the University of Coimbra, she gained a master’s degree in Information Science from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2018, and undertook specialist training in Document and Information Management in 2014. She gained a bachelor’s degree in Archival Science from Paraíba State University, Brazil, in 2010. She is interested in the following research topics: Archival Science, Information Science, Archivist Practices, Participatory Archives, Access to Information, Information Mediation, and Digital Inclusion.
