Diogo Silva
He is a master’s degree student of History Teaching in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education at the University of Coimbra, having graduated in History and Archaeology, specialising in History, at the University of Évora. In 2022, he was a research initiation scholarship holder – IHC – (FCT, Verão com Ciência) as part of the PHONLAB project “Phonetics Laboratory: Coimbra – Harvard. Rethinking 20th-century scientific centres and peripheries”; he was guest speaker at the first meeting of the PHONLAB project, at the Sala dos Atos of the University of Coimbra Faculty of Arts, presenting a paper entitled “Inventariação do espólio instrumental de Armando de Lacerda”, on 3rd May 2023; he was co-author of the paper “PHONLAB Project; Coimbra – Harvard. Rethinking 20 th-Century Scientific Centres and Peripheries”, presented at ICPhS 2023, in Prague. He has worked as a volunteer at the University of Évora, the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, Palácio Cadaval, Caritas Paroquial de Santa Maria de Viseu, Évora City Council and Viseu City Council.
