Holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry (FCTUC) and a master’s degree in Chemistry Applied to Cultural Heritage (FCUL). He is currently doing a doctoral thesis in History of Science (UC) on “Scientific research in the Physics Laboratory of the University of Coimbra, from 1911 to 1972”. He has worked at the UC Science Museum since 2002 as curator of the collection of scientific instruments.
