A full professor of History at the University of Évora (UÉ), she is an integrated researcher at the Institute of Contemporary History (FCSH-UNL). She leads the University of Évora unit of the Institute of Contemporary History and was leader of the History & Science network – HETSCI at NOVA FCSH. She is scientific director of the PhD Programme in History and Philosophy of Science / Museology (UÉ).
